The consumer simply needs to go to any one of 40,000+ retail outlets in the UK (Ukash will be available for purchase throughout mainland Europe, and some of Asia and South America during 2006) and over cash (GBP5/EUR7.50 – GBP100/EUR150) to the shopkeeper in return for a Ukash voucher (unique 19-digit #/value/6 month expiry date). The Ukash voucher can then be deposited at any Ukash-accepting site.
